NatureScot (formerly Scottish Natural Heritage)

atureScot is the government body responsible for the conservation and enhancement of Scotland’s natural heritage; wildlife, habitats and landscapes. It advises on policies and promotes projects which aim to improve the natural heritage and support its sustainable use. It designates and promotes protected areas including SSSIs, SPAs, SACs, NNRs and NSAs.
