The National Trust for Scotland

The National Trust for Scotland is an organisation very similar to the National Trust in England and Wales. The Trust was established in 1931 to care for Scotland's architectural, scenic and historic heritage. Today, it cares for more than 100 buildings and around 185,000 acres of countryside.

The National Trust for Scotland has a good web page, and information about many properties north of the border.
