UK Plant Links
British Trees:
this resource has grown and grown, and is now well worth a visit - it will keep
you interested for some time. Especially recommended is the native tree guide
- a super collection of info about native trees which Naturenet uses almost
daily.
Flora locale: the UK national charity
promoting the wise use of native flora.
Mosses and Liverworts in Wales:
a very interesting site about bryophytes in Wales and elsewhere.
Find Wildflowers: an online
key to the UK flora. A great idea, but a bit of botanical knowledge required,
and we would not recommend that you rely upon this without the help of a good
plant book. We've tried it and it does work... mostly.
Plants for a Future: a resource centre for
rare and unusual plants, particularly those which have edible, medicinal or
other uses. Emphasis on permaculture.
Landlife: with links also to the new
National Wildflower Centre.
English Cottage Garden Nursery:
a good place for native plants and some useful planting advice.
