Aficionados of Naturenet will no doubt have drained to the dregs our paltry collection of on-line games. Why they are there at all is open to question, other than the fact that they amuse The Ranger. And that should be enough, believe me.
The Ranger was amazed to see his server statistics hit the roof in the last few weeks, and naturally assumed that it was the floods of visitors coming to his new blog. But no. More detailed analysis shows that in fact, of all the outstanding original and diverse content found on Naturenet, the big hit right now is the humble game of on-line Connect4. Try it now! You can’t beat it – well, I can’t anyway.
Even more probing seems to indicate that most of this traffic comes from a referal site called Stumbleupon. On visiting the site, it seems like a darn good idea. And it works with Firefox! Let’s hope that all these stumblers will take a peek at all the other good stuff on Naturenet whilst they are visiting.
