It's been pointed out to us that there's no such thing as Tyne and Wear any more. There are quite a few other counties and areas that don't exist either, but still appear on these pages, but as someone took the trouble to sort out all the sites that used to be here into their correct counties, this is where you will now find them:

is a website for walkers in the Tyne Valley in south Northumberland. The site
contains suggestions for walks from all the Tyne Valley towns with full route
descriptions, which are free to download.
