Well done everyone who had a go at the first Find the Fault. Here's the next one: same rules apply!

Find the fault, Dennis publications. Number 2

Sorry it's a bit smaller - this is the best that landscape format can offer. However be assured that the relevant details are clear enough, so no need to get out your magnifying glass.

The answer is in the comments below.

Ha ha! My experience with rubbish builders gives me a head start on this one, but Family Hold Back just now.

Ooer - yes, that is a bit topical, isn't it? Still, that's the order they came in. Your discretion is appreciated. You could always go for a bonus point!

Yes Brian, you're right! Brian wins today's point. You can have one too, Mark, as you knew it. No bonuses this time. The official explanation is:
2. The keystone of bridge arch is upside down.

Suggested 'bonus' mistakes which junior rangers Bill and Jack suggested include 'The bridge hasn't got any water on the other side' and 'The fence is blocking the road'. I didn't allow either of those, as they're matters of interpretation.

More coming soon.

Dash - I was going to go for the bonus point: he has let his dog off the lead in a pasture that may contain livestock, but that might be stretching things beyond interpretation.

The gate is hanging the wrong way - wait, there is no gate. In simpler times past, that used to be the answer to all of these questions from the ranger. I did notice the keystone, perhaps it slips out for easy replacement.

Don't worry Richard, there's a gate question coming up later in the series...

The farmer should not be smoking as he is at work!

The Ranger's Blog

The thoughts and writings of The Virtual Ranger, since 1995 the host and mascot of Naturenet, the UK's most popular independent environmental website; along with interjections from his real-life alter ego, Matthew Chatfield, and others. Featuring not only Naturenet and countryside related stuff, but, as on Naturenet, plenty of other material - more or less at random - that takes The Ranger's fancy. But you can be confident that soon enough he'll be rather sarcastic.
